CLASSES

Joseph Pilates developed specialized apparatus/equipment for the Pilates discipline in order to facilitate precise movement and to help the body learn correct technique while creating optimum muscle memory. InCentre has sleek modern Reformers featuring a movable foot-bar, Cadillac/Towers & Chairs that allow for integrated exercises and variations on the classical repertoire. Our apparatus utilizes spring resistance to create both challenge and support, and promotes total body strengthening, balance and control. The Bodhi Suspension System and Silk Suspension are modern apparatus that allow us to add full body suspension, inversions and body weight resistance into Pilates based group classes. The Fuse Ladder uses spring resistance, bars/ladder rungs, slings, suspension and/or silks for a workout that can be either gentle to many abilities or challenging and athletic. All of our Instructors comprehensively trained and certified to teach all Pilates apparatus including Reformer, Cadillac/Tower & Chair. Our group classes have a contemporary Pilates approach with knowledge and respect for the classical method.

*The Apparatus does offer support and can allow for safe and effective training that can benefit a variety of conditions and injury recovery. If you are pregnant or have chronic or acute injuries/conditions, please consult the studio for your best options. As with any exercise program, you must always have a doctor’s approval and clearance prior to starting Pilates.
